Happy New Year 2013

And as a good deed you may want to sign a petition in support of Klubrádió. You can sign here:

http://www.peticiok.com/mondj_nemet_a_klubradio_megszuntetesere

and click on “Petíciók aláírása”

The rest is self-explanatory. First and last name, e-mail address and finally whether you want your name to be visible or not. More than 34,000 people signed already.

Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!

It’s nice to see that the Klubradio petition has the largest number of signatures by far of all petitions on this website. It is not so nice to see that the second largest number of signatures belongs to a petition to defend Hungary’s self-determination form the EU, initiated by Eva Maria Barki from Vienna.

It shows how divided Hungarian society is.

To our gracious host Eva and all others here:

    A happy new year!

I think we can all use all the luck we might get – whether we’ll be really happy remains to be seen.

PS: My wife’s young ones are with us and we’ve just had a discussion on the future of Europe and the “US empire” – but I think we all don’t know what the future will bring …

Just in: 2013 will issue in 600 new laws in California including, “…giving drivers licenses to children of illegal immigrants, banning psychotherapy for young gay teens…”

I didn’t know that our heroic Viktor Orban was on consultancy in his spare time…

I see where the LMP will not even consult with the developing opposition.

I predict that Schiffer will be the new mayor of Belgrad..

The last comment is at least a nice variation of spam – “spanners” and other tools from India …

Hope everybody made it safely to the New Year!

“It shows how divided Hungarian society is.”

Slightly amended: “How criminally indifferent many Hungarians remain”
It would be time to rehabilitate those Hungarians, which are inhumane, unenlightened, or just indifferent to universal morality.

The therapy will have to cover a majority of Hungarians.

Large segments of the Hungarians have become corrupted by changing local, national and international negative forces throughout our history.

These people have watched and supported the destructive politicians, selfish priests, and self-appointed other criminals without moral hesitation. This part of our history deserves all our attentions.

Even many the best Hungarians stopped short to condemn the criminal acts committed by Hungarians in our 1000 years of history.

Eva Balogh is the exception. Happy 2013 to Eva!

Happy New Year! BUÉK! Happy 2013! To All.

It is an interesting read when doing a small research on google about who Eva Maria Barki is….

history history: “It would be time to rehabilitate those Hungarians, which are inhumane, unenlightened, or just indifferent to universal morality.”

Are you sure you wanted to use the verb “rehabilitate”? I really don’t think that, for example, Kövér or Orbán can be rehabilitated.

Yes, but god forbid that the hordes that make up Bekemenet can not be rehabilitated…

    Happy New Year Eva.

Our new years eve gathering always includes a number of doctors and teachers but generally no politics. This year, politics were generally on the table. Word from teachers… they supported the students but so feared for their jobs (at the meager pay they do get) that no one said much. As for the doctors, they are simply leaving the country… and not just the young ones. I was speaking English to a few that hadn’t been able to speak so well in the past. As for support for OV, well I didn’t see much of that.. in fact I didn’t see any. One comment to a Dr. leaving for Canada was can you take Orban with you! Joke of the evening was; what is the difference between God and OV. Answer; God doesn’t want to be OV.

Orban’s law industry broke new records in 2012!

226 laws, 447 government decrees and 705 governmental measures were created by Hungary’s best industry in 2012, more then 4 a day.

The same numbers were only 215, 379 and 522 respectively in 2011.

    Bravo, Mr Orban.

    A bit OT:

Driving home today I saw a large sign (aka billboard) at the roadside of the main road in our village which proclaimed:

FIDESZ x MSZP = xxxsag squared (sorry, couldn’t read it, maybe someone else has seen it too …)

    So 2013 might become interesting!

I’ll have to find out tomorrow what it was exactly.

    PS:

Oh, I forgot: this was a Jobbik sign – they must have money to spend.

About the image, it’s not something I would call “Christian conservative” or expect from Jobbik, but more like LMP or SzDSz.
    Are they changing their strategy?

Thanks, Lecso! So it’s “megszorítás” = tightening, restraint …

But that girl looks nice – if I weren’t a (happily) married senior citizen …

Is that photo of Vona’s Catholic wife? Are they going to publish fundraising calendar with all Jobbik’s wife in their underwear too?

Ahh, such a marketing flop … Epic fail.

    FIDESZ x MSZP = Austerty ^ 2

Then on the bottom: “Will we lose our pants?”. (You lose your pants not your shirt in Hungarian).

Well, duh. The male population probably all want that girl to lose her pants.
